tech media is the most boring media in the world.
it's either deep in the bubble: 10,000 podcasts, documentaries, all serious, founders talking to founders talking to founders.
or it's completely disconnected: journalists covering silicon valley like it's a court case.
while every other topic figured this out, food has shows, fashion has shows, sports has shows, music has shows, even politics (as messy as it is) has shows.
tech moves the world more than all of them. and it still doesn't have some production worth watching on a saturday night.
i got my first computer in 2004. grew up obsessed with tech and TV shows. and i genuinely believe tech is the most exciting story on earth right now. the founders betting everything. the products changing how billions of people live. the culture, the drama, the humor behind all of it.
i want more people to care about it as much as i do. and i want the people who already care to actually have fun.
that's why Silicon Mania.
think MrBeast meets silicon valley, NBC meets the most ambitious founders in the world.
if there's one thing i know for sure: no one in SF understands media more than me.
it's time to make tech fun again :)
